Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Is it at all comparable to real chrome plating?

I have a Warn Classic bumper that is in mint condition, but it is black. I want to keep a classy-ish overall look to my blazer but with the added protection/utilitarian function. I really like chrome bumpers.

Chrome plating is wicked expensive and I can't find a plating shop anywhere.

I want to go powder coat but I'm worried about the outcome and durability. Any input?

Ive got some powder coating experience.

The chrome stuff is meh. It shows the voids of the metal and sort of gives off a brushed aluminum look. In other words you wont get the mirror look.

Super durable stuff but its no chrome plating. Theres less and less plating shops around due to how nasty the chems are.

That's what I was afeared of...

I'll have to check out the local powder shop and see if they have anything chrome on display. I love the look of this warn bumper although I prefer it in chrome. They are next to impossible to find though..

Thanks for the input dude!
