Anyone know where I can get a Cigarette lighter with a tab connection? It's for my '87 Blazer. I ordered one from Napa, but it came with a round connection. They couldn't find one with a tab connection in the computer so I'm stuck with no way to plug in my phone. :(

I could cut the connector off and make a new one, but it would be nice to find the right one.

Junk yard, autozone, advanced auto, etc... I'd bet Wal Mart would have one too (surprised NAPA didn't).

I bought one last season for my boat at Autozone

Just out of curiosity, are you gonna use it as a cigarette lighter or as an auxiliary 12 volt power source?

Mainly as an auxiliary power source, but I figured it would be good to have the option to burn something if I wanted. :D

It sounds like I'm going to have to just try some other parts stores and hope that one of them has the right thing.

On another note, the lighter I'm replacing is a Rochester, and all I can seem to find are Casco lighters. Is there some reason for this?

Ah, gotcha. Usually what I do since I'm not a smoker nor do I allow smoking in my vehicles is I disable the cigarette lighter and use the wiring to power something else like a radar detector or something.

I grabbed 3 of the factory ones from the junk yard so i could install several in various places in my blazer for powering up items with a cig lighter adapter on it.

Just double checked, the ones from walmart DO have 2 spade connectors on the back.

I installed 2 in teh rear of my center console, and one inside, for acc charging duties. Wish i had added one more inside, but once i get my radar detector hard wired, the stock one will be free again.
