Ck 5 question

I had a 75 blazer and I am looking into getting another but I want to modernize the truck. Not to modern but somewhere around a 1990 model. I was wondering if the parts are pretty much exchangeable or can I buy a 1990 blazer and cut the top?

i think most parts are interchangeable, but you can also cut the top off and buy a windshield frame and top from a 73-75 and somehow graft it to the 90, or take the 90 front clip (fenders, hood, and grill) and transfer it to the 75, but you'd still have the old interior

There is a few guys on here that run a 90ish blazer with the top choped, and then the windsheild from a first gen! Search the forums you should find something about it!
