A 2x4 or 2x6 frame around it with each side covered with 1/4 inch plywood should work.

I think that might cost me more than shipping. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Tack weld a support across the bottom, and sandwich it in double or triple thick card board. That should do the trick just figure shipping insured incase they boog it up I can at least make a claim.

1973-1975 Blazer/Jimmy windshield frame, no rust at all, this is what you need to make a 1976-1991 full convert that will accept a factory hardtop, I just would like what I have into it: $70.00

I would like to be in line for this windshield frame.

I am in Dallas area 76020 Zip.

I know that the other fella is in line before me but I saw it was not posted as sold.

Can I make a suggestion on shipping. 2x4s and 2X6s will weigh to much. I suggest some simple 2X2s along the bottom of the frame. Makeing a pocket for each leg to fit in. This will be pretty dame secure. Then wrap it in thick platic or carboard and take it to Greyhound. Or hell duck tape the whole frame and forget the platic. As long as it has a little bit of support it should not tweak. Greyhound shipped a huge Mustang Bumper cover for me and it was much cheaper than anywhere else.

Another suggestion is to sell me that UAV cage cheap and include the window frame as a gift.... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif and those cool seats as well..... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Seriously, If the other party does not want to mess with the frame or the cost of shipping please let me know.

Best regards,

Stace

How much to ship this to Delano, MN 55328? Do you take paypal? Please email me I'll take it right now if shipping won't kill me, I want my '83 to be a full convertible. [email protected].

I think there is a couple of people in line in front of you unless they don't want it. I took it to UPS yesterday while I was shipping something else to get a recomendation, and they said try Greyhound because of all the oversize fees that UPS and fedex would charge.

I think you are third in line for this. Heck I don't know. I think it is already sold though.

I also would take it as posted above. He must be off wheeling and having fun /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Steve, could you ship the windshield frame? The only reason I ask is because I am stationed in Korea right now and won't be back home til June 05. The other option is I may be coming out to CO in Dec when I come home on mid tour leave. Not sure on the CO thing yet. Just shoot me you thoughts, if it goes it goes, ain't the end of the world. 40162 in the zip back in KY for me.
