CK5 OKC visit today

Well, we all finally met at Chad's place!!

Man!!! What a shop!! Huge and awesome!!

Everybody who showed up was: Phyte, Kyle89K5, ChadH82, Rocko, and thatK30guy.

Chad used his John Deere to move the axles out of my truck and to lift the 454 out of Rocko's trailer. Then put the motor back into my truck and the same with the axles into the trailer.

Everybody liked Chads project in the 'awesome' shop! Very thorough and his attention to detail was awesome, too!!

My wife and I were the first to arrive, around 1:00 p.m., then Kyle about 15 minutes later, and finally with Rocko about another 15 minutes later. Pretty close for everyone to arrive.

It was good and cool to meet everyone! All were nice people too!

On the way back home, we stopped in 'Wichititty' and did a quick visit with Blzr4x4ngkid and got to see his Blazer for the first time. I sold him the 3/4 ton axles and the 9" front and rear springs. Very nice and BIG K5!!

It's always fun to chat and b.s. with Alex!!

The whole day started with us leaving around 8:15 this morning and getting back home around 9:30. Man, we are tired!!

Oh yeah!! It was also hotter than a whore on nickel night the time we were all visiting!!!

Although I played a prank on him when driving home.. I called Thomas when we were in Fort Worth.. told him we have his axle.. Then said.. Oh crap.. we forgot to load it..
Thomas was not phased.. Oh well .. bad attempt at humor..
All the Dallas area group.. Great meeting you also.. wish we didn't have to run off.. but ... we were a little behind schedule from being Pulled over..

.. Okay..I was pulled over in Waxahatchie.. That's gonna hurt..

BTW, the group pic of all of us did not come out very good. We should have had the sun in our faces instead of behind us.

I can't thank you guys enough for helping me out with the D44. It's a great feeling knowing I'm finally on my way to 4-wheel again

Sorry I couldn't go with you. This weekend was well spend on my truck though; got the CD player and speakers installed, fixed electrical problems (elec choke) and got the new 14B hub installed, so no more axle leak! .... woohoo!

I'll be cruising your way in about 30mins rocko, so I'll see you soon.

Kyle, I hear my axle is in great condition, I really appreciate it! and the spindles are just an added bonus!

Boy, what would I have done without CK5 .... I'd still have a stock blazer and getting stuck in the woods ....... hehehehe

I have the Off-Road magazine in which his truck was a cover truck. Very cool and awesome truck!!!
