CK5 Tellico 2003 K5 Run

Got our trailler last night. It's gonna ride nicely I think. I will play Blocker for him all the way down. What's the Gas prices down there? I was thinkin to save some weight by runnin mine empty on the trailler but if it aint worth it than I will fill up here. We are lookin at $1.43. My tent made it through a bad storm up here with minor leaks so no worries there. Just need to but the other rock slider on and The rig is as ready as it is going to be. See yall there!

Gas in GA is just about the cheapest in the nation. I always tank just before going into NC. It's usualy about 10 cents a gallon more expensive once you cross the state line. It was $1.329 for Regular when I filled yesterday.

Thanks! It's About the same then. I will just tank up on my home tonight before going on the trailler. See yall sometime tomorrow. Man I miss runnin to Ga to tank up. Always have had the cheapest. When I lived in Jax Fl I used to run up there just for gas. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Oh!! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Looks like everything just got a lot harder. Lookslike its gonna rain for the next 3 days!! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Nasty a$$ goopy mud! I need to move out west. I hate mud!!

My weather report says Fri Scatered T-storms and Sat AM Rain and that's it. Where do you get you r weather from. I use Weather .com.

So what time do you think you will be to Crawford's? I guess that's as good of a meeting spot as any if your going to be there before 5pm. It takes about 25 minutes to get from Crawford's back up to Wallmart.
This will be my first time trailer this much weight with a new to me truck. Going to take it easy on the way up. On second though I may just wait till you get to Wallmart. That damn road up to tellico/Crawford's is a pain in the butt!At times the trailer wheels will be on both lines. Heck of a grade up one hill as well. Have fun with that extra long trailer. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Was putting together Redneck Ram for Tellico and have it all together and bleeding the system and fliud is spraying from the front of the box /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gifI couldn't see the crack in the cover because of the sticker. Maybe I can get it fixed today

Been watching weather ch.radar .Fri. doesn't look too good, but,Sat may be OK and Sun looks good.Rain always makes it interesting.Still planning on being there Fri eve, prob at Crawfords.Looking forward to meeting everyone. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifMy offer still stands to show some easier trails to some of the more stock rigs. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Well I have a spare box here if you need a cap. I'll need it back but not right away. I'll be here till about 2 when I head up. I have to do some work on the burb and get the Blazer loaded up in the morning. Get the hitch set up for this trailer. I'm going to try to get a Transmission cooler installed in it. Would you believe that a 3/4 ton 454 Burb with a combined weight rating of 16,000lb doesn't have it factory? Has a engine oil cooler but not a transmission cooler.

Dep blew a U-joint on the way up. I ran into him on my way home from work. Some how he picked my exit at just the time I was hitting it to get off to find a rest room for one of the kids and grab dinner.

I have fixed the cap. Thanks anyway. I just need to tighten a few loose bolts and I will be good.

Okay, we are up and waittin on 2 other peps to show then we are hittin the road. Probably be around 3-4 if weather don't mess with the trailler too much. We will see. It is huge so we have to take it easy and my end of the trailler is a little low. Hopefully all goes well and we shall see yall today.

Good deal. You coming in from the Murphy side watch that twisty hill on the way to camp.

Alright everyone, get it in gear, its time to load up and move out. I just discovered I need a new headlight sw. Going to check the scrap pile, hopefully I've got a spare. Then its just a matter of swapping the ATs for the MTs and I'll be rolling. Hey, we even have dash plaques for this ride, so get going. See you there!
