I need a measurement from you.

Can you measure the very outside width of the outer tires from sidewall to sidewall on your rig?

I need to see if it will fit on a regular bed with wide 'glass fenders.

Awww man! Any way you can contact the buyer and have them measure it? And what size of spacer did you use exactly? And how much of a space between the tires did you allow?

They were 315s on stock dually rims. 2" spacers. They looked good and gave plenty of room between the tires. We eventually took them out because you had to keep tighten the lugs. It gave pretty much 2" between the tires. Ran the same tires with no spacers and never had any problems.

Dang! Doing some measurements with the bare rims on the shop floor and the paper specs of the tires made us think a spacer was going to be needed in order to keep the tires from getting hot too close together.

I'm liking this more and more as I've got my eyes on some new 315's. At least I know I can use at least 1" spacer to play it safe if need be.

customer at work ordered his own spacers for his drw truck. went from 235/85/16 to 265/75/16 on stock rims. he has room.

the spacer was nice and heavy built. has a centering ring built in to it to keep the outer drw centered.

that is the only major problem i have seen over the years is lack of centering ring to keep outer drw centered as stock does on the hub hole.
