Does anyone make a repro of the old K10 "steely" rally? I don't like many of the new rims these days, you'd think technology would make some awesome stuff but....:dunno:
A guy I know says his buddy has a set of American Racing rims that are like the Chevy Rallys but I haven't come across pics of any online that are anything close.

Wow thanks Scooby! Apparently you have to find a local dealer to get prices but I've got 2 within 20 miles of me so coooool

Doah! I'm sure they are expensive but they make quality stuff. their other stuff isn't my style but nice quality none the less

Dyeager I was thinking the same thing when seeing how 15s are becoming limited and sometimes more expensive than 16s or 17s because of lack of demand. As for center caps I use mine as a work truck so I don't want to abuse nice chrome and stealing rings and caps seems to be a pasttime around here so I'm giving a few morons the chance to stay healthy with lack of temptation. I really like the almost military look and old school american steel on a work truck which is why I ditched the aluminum 16s my 'burban had when I got it for the K10 steelies before the tires were even worn.

I've seen some other GM ralleys (on cars) that were "stretched" to larger sizes, and the proportions end up looking wrong. It appears they make the truck wheels in 16's and 17's (plus many other diameters and widths) but I can't find any pictures of them. Ideally on a truck, but I doubt that really matters as much as seeing them with caps and a tire sized about what you'd be running.

Not finding any of the 16/17's being sold that look like the truck rallys though. :( I suspect the price is enough to make most of us balk though.

Thanks MT I go looking for these every once in a while and forget the places I've found them. The biggest holdup for me was shipping and Summit says no fee for standard shipping on orders over 99 so.....BINGO:saweet:

.......aaaaand then I realize there isn't a shipping fee but there IS a "truck fee".....so that $340 ends up closer to 500 bucks....again....which is why I never ordered them from Vintiques or Stockton.....:angry1:

Bringing this back up again....Has anyone here ordered rims from Summit? They say no shipping fee but is there any other catch like 'freight' or 'truck' fees?

I ordered a set of bare rims last year and they came UPS, so no catch there. I suspect it's when you get them mounted, tires on the rims, that they have to come truck freight (can't come UPS) and so you get zinged.

You could either call Summit to verify, or just put all the stuff in an online cart and get a total.

I did the cart total a couple times but I was still skeptical that there would be a charge before it was all over
My other Summit orders came UPS too so if you weren't charged I'm going to happily assume I won't be either but I'll call to order and ask to be safe. At least I can feel a couple hundred closer to buying them now ;)
