I'm looking for a short bed for my '68 C10. Thinking about a complete bed kit from Classic Industries. They are about $2400 and they are local, so no shipping. This includes tailgate, sides, steel floor, front, and wheel wells. CList beds are in MEH shape, far and few between, and $1000+. Would much rather buy new and paint it. Done.

I have a decent long bed with horrible wood floor. However, I don't have the talent or "smart" enough welder to pull off the sheet metal work.

I'm trying to make my flat bed idea work but it's impractical. I want to keep it flat, but with no sides :doah:it doesn't hold stuff very well. This isn't a show truck or weekend driver, it's a daily driver.

Their website is horrible Irish. I've been to it, worthless. Then, they want me to send them $3 for their catalog. :doah:

I just wanna know their price and what they offer dammit

I remember in the 90s I had a Mar-k catalog. Was very cheesy even for that time but then they had all the good bed product selection.

Honestly $2400 for a new.bed seems high but factor in a used bed for $1000. Thats $1400 to invest and still have the possibility of mud.

I know some of the die hards will spend big bucks on keeping the bed OE no matter what cost.

If you want a short bed then Id.say go.for it
