clean 2.5 lift picture wanted

I have done my due diligence by looking through the what would my truck look like thread and perhaps I missed it but does someone have a picture of a k5 with a 2.5 inch lift and 33s. It would help me decide between a 2.5 and 4 inch lift

Bump, it's been 4 months... I'm about to pick up a '90 Jimmy and I'm leaning towards a 2.5" lift with 33's as well.

just do 4 inches

for reference.

33x12.5 on a 10 inch wheel. actual diameter measure 31.5

I started at the end of the thread and am working my way backwards. It wasn't until page 14 that I found one with a 2.5" lift and 33's.

I'm not doing a 4" lift because I need to get the damn thing in the garage, and I don't want to have to mess with extended brake lines, steering column, etc.

I just ordered some front springs from ORD and I believe they were on the truck the next day then delivered by FedEx in 5 days. It went over a weekend, so 7-8 days for the whole shipment.

my 87 k5 has 2.5'' lift on 33s. Give me a email address and I will send you pics. I live in Los Angeles and all the parking structures have a 6'8'' to 7'' feet clearance, thats why I didnt go with th 4'' lift. And I like keep my k5 garaged.

I'll have to dig out a picture, but I have an 89 with a 4" lift on 35's and she just barely fit in my garage with a 7' door. To look at it once she was in there you would swear it wouldn't fit or no way to get it out but she did.

Don't know if that helps you any.

I can just visually tell. Nearly 20 years of this now. Also, like you said that configuration is not as common. 16s would tend to have deeper backspace and just not look as good on these trucks.

It is not always easy to tell with aftermarket wheels.
