I have had this truck for over three years, and it has never left me stranded once. For two of those years, i was driving 50 miles round trip to school and work. I have bought an 87, and no longer have room to keep this one - let alone time or money to drive it like it needs to be. i had thought of making it a trail rig, but its way too clean. More pics available upon request.

Asking price is $3500 obo. Always interested in trades too - parts, rigs, whatever.

Beautiful. Sell it yet? If you werent so far away I would have to buy it. By new valve gaskets Im assuming you mean valve cover gaskets? How about some more pics?

I posted on virgilh's blazer (jimmy to be exact) and am interested in yours too. He is asking $3000 and your @ $3500 obo, your body is much straighter (at least from what I can see) but he is much closer to me. Hmmm, what is involved in the tranny gasket swap? The valve cover gasket is simple but I'm not sure what's involved in the other. I love the look of those fender flares though. Help...

avery,
another thing to consider is transporting costs. do you have any idea what it would take to deliver this from arkansas? as a reference, i paid 1300 to have one delivered from new jersey to texas. not to knock justin's blazer, it is a very nice looking blazer with a nice color scheme going on.

That's true, I had thought about that but decided to look into both of them before throwing one out. Another thing that I need to look into is how much serious body repair is vs. replacing quareter pannels (which the other (Jimmy) I was looking at needs).
I'll do some research in my local area for some body shops then hit up the junkyards.....

Serious? :eek1:
Think back to when you were 16 going on 17....what was the one thing on your mind? Driving!
I am the opposite of my friends, they all have the time and no money, I've got the money and no time. I work after school at a local hobby shop and am involved greatly with clubs at school and with my church. So yes I'm serious but I do have some priorities and for the past little while and as much as I wanted to I just couldn't get driving mixed in there. Anyways I love the truck and it's what I've been looking for but to be honest it'd have to wait until after Christmas.
Great luck on selling and I do hope that it'll be there for me when I am ready but at the same time I don't want that to stop you from selling it if another buyer comes along. ;)
I hope that you understand.:D

thanks jeff:D

but, yeah, i bet shipping it would be very expensive.

if you are really serious, we can do some negotiating.

avery, maybe you and justin could meet up somewhere. i guess if all else fails, you could spend spring break driving it back to cali :D

or for a little diesel money, maybe i could help out

That's a good idea, only problem with that is I don't know how serious the needs are (valve cover gaskets, tranny pan gasket). Oh and another thing is although the A/C components are removed do you still have them?
Not that I couldn't live without it but here in Fresno during the summer we have stretches of weeeks where it's 105 and still doesn't cool off at night.
Thanks
