Clean

Agreed. I'd say it's possible, but not this one. Maybe 8-10Kish on the high side?

Floor-mounted Lokar shifter.....why?

.

It'll never sell. K5 guys are DIY'ers, as most old car or truck guys are. So, with that in mind...

With 16k you could build a K5 with 1-tons, any locker setup you wanted, a doubler with twin or triple sticks, whatever diesel/383/400 small block you wanted, a built TH350/400/SM465, a super soft lift, whatever tires you wanted, a couple race seats, and all the material to do this most basic of interiors however you want... and still have a couple grand for a screamin' paint job.

That said, if I was rich and lazy, probably. Pretty damn good starting point, lol

It's worth whatever someone will pay, but despite it being a very clean example, that's a bit high. The only person that will pay that much is someone who thinks it looks cool, doesn't know any better, and will probably never take it off road. Half that price is probably the max for that vehicle, and that's for a buyer that appreciates what it is.

You might be able to get that much for a fully worked over vehicle with the right mods to a buyer that is looking for something specific, but not likely. I always look at modding a truck for what I want, knowing if I sell I won't see the investment. The whole reason for buying a K5 is to get something cheap and work on it so you don't pay a higher price for a newer, less capable truck that is lacking in character. JMO

Craigslist sellers like this are a perfect example of what happens once you legalize marijuana...

Looks clean and was the last year of the solid axle blazers. But not worth more than 10. For 16k id have a cheap truck and beef the hell out of it. With that kind of money could have the best of everything for the most part.
