local supply shop to me quit selling brake cleaner . they get mass air flow cleaner cheeper and does the same job . they even passed the savings on to the end buyer .
i wouldn't use stripper.. mineral spirits is fine if wiped after.. lacquer thinner would work way better and dry off... under $20 a gal usually at the hardware store..
