cleaning tranny case

Ok i got the tranny all torn apart and im starting 2 clean the case up.

So what tips ideas do you all have on doing this?

Should i just get a big plastic tote and put the case in there with cleaner/degreaser and alot of scrubbing?

gotta pressure washer handy? When pressure washer access is limited I load my item to be washed in the truck and head to the car wash.

the best way is to steam clean the case, when i have not been able to do this i just use a lot of degresser and a brush, Remember to do a final wash with with fresh degresser to make sure the inside of the case is prefectly clean. Buy your self a few cans of the jet spray carb cleaner it works very well on the inside of the case and when cleaning drums and spool valves, You can never be to clean with a tranny rebuild
