Whats some good ways to clean up all the rust on headers? Should I just sand it down? Is there anyway to rustproof them a little better? I have another set that are rusted inside, anyway to deal with that? Any random info? thanks in advance

nope.. :wink1:

they could be dipped... Or you can send them to JettHot and have em coated (An option only worth considering if it is a quality header, ain't smart to coat a set of $100 Blackjacks at a cost of $300)..

If your just trying to clean up some rusty steel headers and have some paint survive, good luck...

You could pull em, blast em, trying to get the inside decent and coat em in some VHT, Eastwoods, etc, but,

it will,

be,

FUTILE... :doah:

Agreed, I've seen many rust from the inside out.
