I had a post on my 241 clocked flat and it was getting cluttered so here is a new one. I used a DIY4X clocking ring and went all the way up. The problems are exhaust routing for dual 2.5" with headers, linkage mods, t case brace mods, cross members and skid, and front driveshaft. Here is what I did so far:

This pic shows the t case and the crossmember. If you look close you can see where I cut a hole in the floor to clear even with a 1" body lift. If you are really ambitious you can hammer away and make it clear.

This shows the modified shifter linkage. First it had to be longer and also had to be raised. I used a piece of flat steel and cut the rod and welded it in. It was very close to the t case so to make sure it will never bind on the case I cut it on a angle. It actually shifts better then it did stock.:dunno:

In this pic you can see how I modified the t case brace. I had to cut it a few times to make sure it will not get in the way. You can also see the exhaust routing. Yes it is close to the frame. You can also see how close the driveshaft flange is to the floor. I did have a shaft in there to make sure everything will clear. The only thing I might have to do is move the exhaust clamp or cut the threads off.

This shows the crossmember and the exhaust. The crossmember is the lowest part and is 1.5"x3/16" square tube.

This shows just how tight the exhaust fits around the t case.

Driver side exhaust. I actually bent that pipe on the old Harbor Freight pipe bender. :D

That's where it is now. I will have my driveshaft built and will be adding another crossmember and skid in the next couple of days. Overall I think this is a great mod and will hopefully keep this from happening. This was actually setting the truck back down after being high centered on the t case skid and crossover pipe. :doah:

looks sweet, nothing to get hung up on now, except that big 14b haha

Wow.. I finally get to see some pics that answered my questions on dual exhaust routing with a fully clocked flat t-case. It does look tight in there, but hey, it works.

Sadly enough, I've gone another route so I'm saving this thread for future reference if I ever buy another Blazer.

Thank you for sharing.

My other post was getting cluttered up with pics of exhaust routing on other rigs. All were great ideas but didn't do me any good with wanting to run duals and headers.

Well here is the front shaft. I have to thank YZEATER for the drawing of the flange. This uses a Dana 60 joint to get about 40+ degrees of working angle.

Any more specs and pics of the front driveline? Does the driveline work at full droop?

Looks good by the way:waytogo:

The shaft is pretty simple. It starts with a custom made flange with the stub shaft end of a D60 joint welded in, then to the inner shaft piece of the D60 joint. 2" square wall tube welded to that and a 1350 joint welded into the 2.5" square tube. 1350 yoke on the axle. I don't know if it will work at full droop, have not tested it yet. It will not run out of droop at the D60 joint. The 1350 end will bind first. If it does bind any I will first try a little grinding and if I don't get enough there I will wind up getting a custom u joint from Tom Woods.

Did you cut the D60 joints out or did you buy them from somewhere? I'd like to look into this and see if I can buy the stuff then have a friend weld it up.

I cut a spare set of 60 shafts I had. You need at least 1 stub shaft though because that is the shaft that gets cut for the custom flange. Also I need to order the Tom Woods joint for the axle end.

can i get some more close ups of the pass side exhaust please??im running into problems where the header lays with the t case in the way...thanks

this is off subject but you were talkin about rock sliders do you have any pics?

All the pics I have are in the link below. Depending on the headers you have you might run into problems. After running this set up this year I have had a few issues. The big problem has been the headers vibrating loose. Some Stage 8 bolts should fix that though.
