I had a post on my 241 clocked flat and it was getting cluttered so here is a new one. I used a DIY4X clocking ring and went all the way up. The problems are exhaust routing for dual 2.5" with headers, linkage mods, t case brace mods, cross members and skid, and front driveshaft. Here is what I did so far:
This pic shows the t case and the crossmember. If you look close you can see where I cut a hole in the floor to clear even with a 1" body lift. If you are really ambitious you can hammer away and make it clear.
This shows the modified shifter linkage. First it had to be longer and also had to be raised. I used a piece of flat steel and cut the rod and welded it in. It was very close to the t case so to make sure it will never bind on the case I cut it on a angle. It actually shifts better then it did stock.
In this pic you can see how I modified the t case brace. I had to cut it a few times to make sure it will not get in the way. You can also see the exhaust routing. Yes it is close to the frame. You can also see how close the driveshaft flange is to the floor. I did have a shaft in there to make sure everything will clear. The only thing I might have to do is move the exhaust clamp or cut the threads off.
This shows the crossmember and the exhaust. The crossmember is the lowest part and is 1.5"x3/16" square tube.
This shows just how tight the exhaust fits around the t case.
Driver side exhaust. I actually bent that pipe on the old Harbor Freight pipe bender.
That's where it is now. I will have my driveshaft built and will be adding another crossmember and skid in the next couple of days. Overall I think this is a great mod and will hopefully keep this from happening. This was actually setting the truck back down after being high centered on the t case skid and crossover pipe.
