I understand the concept but after searching I just cant find the answer to the question. The huh would be where exactly do you install the clocking ring too? does it go between the trans/case adapter? does anyone have a link to a step by step on how to install?

Also my truck is a daily driver and has no body lift. How high up should i clock my case? I dont want to screw with my driveshaft angles but i'm going to have to in the future seeing as how I'm going to moe the axle forward. Any input or tips would be appreciated.

it goes in between the case and the adapter. with 5 inches im guessing youre going to have pretty steep front angle, so probably not gonna be able to clock it much.

mine is clocked belly flat.no body lift and lots of cutting

Clocking the case is the easy part. There are quite a few other things that need to be done to make it work. Shifter linkage, support rod, front driveshaft, and exhaust are all things I had to modify. I have a 1" body lift and had to do a little floor rework too. Also clocking the case does no good if you don't make a custom crossmember and skid. I am happy with the results though.

Thanks for the info guys. Damn, so this isn't an easy change?? :P

So what did you guys do about the support rod? Still needed? Did you inegrate a new support piece into the new crossmember/skid?

How about the front DS? Dual piece? Or does double cardain fullfil the job?
