Okay I have 203 in my blazers now with the exception of one. And it has a 205 with a slip yoke. This past weekend I found a working 205 fixed yoke for a 350 with adapter, crossmember and driveshafts for a $100. Didn't even have to barter. That is what he was asking. I also found a 73 truck with a 305/205 in it. I asked the guy about just buying the trans and t-case, but he wants to sell the whole truck as a package for $300. If I buy the truck for the tranny.t-case, driveshafts, etc.. Then what to do with the reat of the truck. I don't need or want another truck and this one is in pretty poor shape. Any recommendations?
I am thinking I will sell my 350/205 (slip yoke) I have know and that will give me 2 350/205 fixed yoke combos with a spare 350. And I will have a 400/208 which I am thinking of running with my 1-tons.
Also If I swap the 203 to 205s want I have to modify the driveshafts? Thanks.
