Clunking from crossover steering.

I actually moved the nuts. They were not loose. The center pins are fairly new when I installed a zero rate, along with everything else. I put a torque wrench on alot of stuff once a year at least. The one leaf that moves doesn't move a 1/4".

Really, it has to be the whole rest of the pack moving underneath the main, not one leaf on it's own. By loose center pin, I was suggesting that the head doesn't fit tightly in the spring pad or the diameter is smaller than the hole in the spring. There are stories of people surprised to find it broken when they take the U-bolts off, too.

Any chance the center pin is a little long and it's preventing the plate from fully clamping? I mean, if the U-bolts are tight, how can the springs move around?

It's just the one leaf. I may try some type of lube. Spoke to ORD and they said it is common and not really an issue.
Also I was thinking, installing hydro assist is still pushing the truck side to side and wouldn't fix the issue really would it?

Hydro pushes the tie rod. It is connected to the axle and tie rod, so it relieves the pressure from the steering box and frame to axle.

Steering 37's while articulated with one finger is really nice.
