Clunking Noise?

84 k5 new 350 new 700r4, I have a bad clunk going into drive, could it be the rear end slack or u joints? I also have a bad vibration at 35-45 mph that is not engine related, new tires so I was thinking again either u joint or maybe tranny?

Check your u-joints.
