clutch dragging?

Truck is being a pain in the a$$ to shift, sometimes i cant get it into, or out of gear, especially if its been sitting a while. today i noticed if i hold my foot to the floor, and im in gear, it still wants to move forward on me. im guessing my clutch is dragging, but i dont know how to fix it. theres ALOT of free play in the clutch pedal. is the whole thing toast, or is there some sort of adjustment that i need to be making?

yesterday, after sitting in the same spot for two weeks it was stuck in L, and i could not get it out for the life of me, even when the truck was off. rolled backwards a bit, shut her down, waited, and finally she broke free for me.

well it turns out that im a dumbass...........bone dry. of course i go for the more complicated stuff first. glad you guys are here to keep me in line!
