Could anybody help me out? I need to make a template of a clutch master cylinder mounting on the firewall. I stole this picture from dirtylarrys thread. Im converting my 76 to hydraluic clutch and going pretty much the same route as him. I dont have time to go to the junkyard and pull everything out of the way and make a template. I work monday thru saturday 8-5 and the main junkyards are only open until 4. I will reimburse you for your time. Its alot easier to make it from the inside I would think.

You want that section of the firewall from a manual trans '85? :)

Cut it out of the K5 body I dismantled recently.

I think it would be easier to make a pattern out of card board and just drill the holes rather then cutting it out and welding it in. Plus I dont really want to pay for it and the shipping.... thanks for the suggestion! ;)

There is a template with dimensions somewhere on this site, I found it a couple days ago. Do a search.

I was just thinking of sending you the plate to make a template from, I figured cutting/welding it in would be a bit of a task lol.

If there isn't a template to be found, let me know and maybe if there is an easy way, I will make one from it that is usable online for all. I just figured the firewall piece would be idimpossible to line up wrong.
