@ZooMad75 @Larry and others doing the 8.1 combo .

Whats a good clutch for my 3500-HD nv4500 truck ?

Driving today something let loose . Clutch pedal ROCK HARD and was able to limp home but she was a slippin if you tried anymore than 1/4 gas pedal .

If its coming out i want master / slave / clutch kit / turn flywheel .

Thanks for any hints / tips / tricks for these 8.1 / nv4500 combo .

Pretty sure the 3500HD with the 8.1L like you have uses a bigger 1.25” input instead of the normal 1.125” input.

Larry and I both use a Centerforce clutch on ours. When he converted the Suburban over to the integral slave/release bearing he did put a parts store clutch in rather than the Centerforce. He's probably going to go back to a Centerforce based on what he's told me. The difference is the holding power when the engine is under load and RPM's are up there. They don't slip. The action is light and does not require a ton of leg pressure to work.

It's another situation where you get what you pay for. That clutch is worth every penny from my use of it.

well for speed of getting it done and getting the parts here i know LUK is a decent brand . so i got the kit and a new master / line / slave so it will be all done . R/A for the win with the discount code and around 483.00 to my door .

Luk would be a solid second choice. It should work good for your application.
