Quick question...will the brake pedal from a non-hydraulic brake/clutch pedal assembly work in place of the brake pedal on a hydraulic setup? Thanks

There’s some differences in the geometry, so it effects the way it compresses the master cylinder

what about if it was switching from vacuum brakes to hydro boost brakes? Any info on that?

Both pedals will bolt in identically to either style of pedal bracket. The difference is mirrored in the master cylinder, so if you keep the M/C that matches the pedal you'll be fine. The hydro pedal has a return spring that the vacuum pedal lacks, so you may need to fit that to your bracket. IIRC my bracket already had the hole drilled, so I just mounted my spring and that was the end of that.

The pivot points on the pedals are in different spots, so your M/C linkage will not be aligned correctly if you use the wrong master cylinder. That is what Bent77 was talking about above.

Ok. I think I understand. Tell me if I am thinking correctly based upon what you both are telling me. If I take a master cylinder/booster assembly that is hydro boost, and a brake pedal from a non-hydraulic clutch/hydroboost brake assembly, they shoul

That's a factory combination that should work perfectly. And the brake pedal won't care which type of clutch it's paired with.
