Anybody have a pic of one? I need to send one to somebody to ask them how easily they think they could lengthen it or make a new one. I'm thinking body lift, and want to get all the bugs worked out first so I don't have any down time.

If no one can get this by tonight, I have one I can take a pic of and post. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That would be sweet. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I can't really get a good pic that shows what its really like while its in the truck. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I happen to have one lengthened for a 2" body lift in my garage waiting to go in my K5 (unless I can find hydro stuff).

Wish I had one. That's the amount of lift I was thinking of too. Could you take some measurements too? Like diameters of the rod and the ends, the length, offset to the side? He might be able to make a new one if he knew enough.

Sure /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm sorry but I've temporarily failed you. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I couldn't find my pushrod last night. I've got parts on work benches, in boxes and on shelves everwhere in my garage so finding it was trickier than I thought. I'll hit it again this afternoon and find it.

Sorry /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Dude, I am soooo sorry I let this get away from me. I will make this happen tonight and post pics and info.

GM dealer here told me the hydro rebuild kits are discontinued and quoted me outragious $ for new master/slave
I had to stoop to the Raybestos stuff for my cost 25% less
the slave pushrod on the Raybestos is a loose item though??

I never thought about it until MJ's reply but you are talking about the vertical pushrod for a mechanical clutch set up, right? If you are...

I have added an album to my Webshots page with your name in the title. There are 3 pics showing the pushrod (the whole thing, the weld and one end). The album should be viewable 30 minutes after the time for this post.

A body lift will include a piece of rod the same length as the lift pucks. Typically you'd cut your rod and add this pice to lengthen it. For mine I only have one weld because I had two push rods so I cut both and welded the opposite pieces together to achieve the ultimate length.

Just fyi - the turned ends are different lengths, the short one goes to the pedal and the long to the lower clutch linkage.

Man, you've got to love the Spicers! TARussell and I were lucky enough about 8 years ago to buy some *new* hubs in the box (1 pair for each of us @ $120 per hub), man I wish I had bought more now. I've got 4 sets now but not all of the parts in each set are good. Anytime I see a set I try to buy them (except Ebay though, man they bring a lot of money there).
