clutch pedals

im in the process of putting a standard in my truck and im at the point where im putting the pedals in.
well my question is, will petals from a 79 be a direct bolt in to an 86 cab or will i have to do some

i don't think its a direct bolt up.. i was told my 77 assembly wouldn't be a direct fit for my 87.. i think 80 might be the changeover year....

ive put 79 petals in my 83 cab, fit just fine.
i believe they will interchange from 73-87,91. it may be the booster rod hooks up differently, i think BranndonC found this out.

the only difference ive ran accros is whether the cab was setup for hydro boost or vac assist brakes.

Clutch pedals interchange from 73-84, and from 85-91. 85 was the first year for the hydraulic clutch, previous was mechanical linkage.

well the pedals went in fine, the only thing i noticed different was the hole on the rod from the brake booster wasnt big enough to fit onto the new pedal, other than that all went smooth
