code 12 is the normal code to have...you will always get that when you check codes..any trouble codes will come after that flashes 3 times.

Poss the oxy sensor isn't working right till it earms up,making it run rich till then?Just a thought, some one here should have more ideas. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Might have to get a heated O2 sensor...that should warm that sumbitch up to the 5 or 600 degrees it needs to be at real quick. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I got a Bosch one- supposed to be 'universal'. Has 3 wires. Black one-same as stock O2
Two white ones- one ground, one tied in to be hot w/ the key on. I tapped a fuel pump wire, supposedly a lot of people do that.
Just wait for a few more opinions before you go and spend the $60 /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

aparently a 13 is the o2 and a 33 is a mass airflow..i just dosconected the battery for the night and i'll see if it runs better after a few days

Just found this post, was in Canada, Eh /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I don't think you have a mass airflow sensor... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
Did clearing the codes change anything?

Code 33 is for the MASS sensor if you have tpi, mpi, or efi. I am assuming you have tbi, in which case code 33 means MAP sensor. This is the manifold absolute pressure sensor. It is $27.99 at autozone.

Save yourself some hassle (radio presets for instance) and pull the ECM fuse. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
