cog setup

Just got some free time here at work, and check out March`s site. Looks good! I should be able to use my march alt bracket I got already, right?q

Got it. Looks like it comes with new p/s brackets, as well as alt bracket. so, looks like I`ll be selling the extra brackets, the alternator one, and the p/s if its still salvagable.

thanks 4xcrazy

while on the topic...belts. I look and see it needs a 6 rib 41" belt ,and a 5 rib 33.5" belt, so I find the p/ns in Goodyear Gatorback belts.

Then I go to summit, punch in the part # of the kit, and it recommends belts (gates brand) the 41", and instead of a 33.5", a 33.75". Any ideas?

I would hold off on selling your brackets. I think March sells a kit with just the pulleys also.

They do, but the price comes out to only $70 cheaper than the whole kit....which includes a p/s bracket to replace the one I fubared, which cost`s $100 in itself  I`m also not 100% sure the alt brackets are the same. So in the end, I`ll have at least one of those to sell.

Well then the kit with the brackets are a better deal.:o

Strange I know. The kit is ALOT cheaper, for whatever reason. The pulleys plus the p/s bracket, is $30 more than the whole kit itself. Thats not even including the alt bracket, which is another $75-80:crazy:
