I have a TBI 454 in my buggy, the stock wire connector broke that goes from the distributor to the coil. I bought a new harness off eBay, motor wouldn't start. Finally figured out if you hold the connector on the coil end just right it makes connection and starts. I then ordered a harness from painless, same dam problem. Is there a way to fix this problem other than wire tying it? Is there a different style coil that I can use that has terminals that use nuts and ring terminals? Thanks

If GM doesn't sell the plug ,I'd go to a boneyard and snip one off another vehicle..my friend replaces many sensor and other wiring harness plugs at his shop, and has had issues like yours with aftermarket parts store replacement pigtails at times..cant beat factory sometimes..

I've tried it on the original GM coil and my DUI coil and it does the same on both so I guess they are just crappy aftermarket connectors.
