Coil question

First,

Cad 500, Custom built Dist (GM Based) , NO MSD Box,

The coil I have is a MSD Master Blaster II.



What would be wrong Pro/Cons of installing this style of coil instead?



The problem is I don't have any good place to mount the taller oil filled tower style coil. Which one would hold up to off-road abuse.

i would run the coil in the lower pic as i'm pretty sure it is a much better designed coil over the oil filled ones.

Agreed Scott,

The Blaster SS coil is much more efficient and much more powerful than the older Blaster II coil. It's also epoxy filled instead of oil filled so it will hold up to vibration MUCH better than the Blaster II.

The Blaster II is a great coil but for what we do and as far as new and improved goes the Blaster SS gets my vote.

Not that I deal with this stuff much though...
