Does anybody run coilsprings in the rear? It would be a lot cheaper than coilovers and it should not be to expensive/difficult to do I think, it would be great for departure angle if I bob my rear and put the tank up in the bed. Also, any suggestions on what coil springs to use?

V8 ZJ front coils are a popular choice. THey are what I am going to try out in my S10 first. As soon as someone gets off their butt and ships them to me. Well that and as soon as I get to school. I believe that is the samething Russ is running in the back of his truggy. Check out the "Center of Gravity" and see Russ'(BadDog) 4 link project.

I am thinking about doing this on a 73 GMC 2wd pichup that I have. Its just sitting there and I will have some extra 3/4 ton axles floating around soon so I am going to build it into a crawler.
