Alright anytime the temp drops below 30degrees roughly my tbi acts like a damn carb. I start it up and have to keep on the gas and if i don't it will die. It wont idle, once it warms up driving around it works and will idle fine. I remember reading bot it might be a coolant temp sensor. Where exactly is this sensor? Oh its a 1987 K5 350TBI w/ 700r4/208. Thanks guys!

Cooant temp is on the front of the intake. If you get a replacement, get the one with the pigtail. Check the TPS sensor also.

Before you start throwing parts at it try this first. Before you try to start it hit the throttle once, with it being that cold outside you might have a situation where the throttle blades are icing up and this would cause you troubles. If hitting the throttle once then starting doesn't help then i would definately swap out the coolant temp switch.

Someone suggested the 02 sensor but that would not be the problem like Dorian said as it doesn't even come into play until the ECM goes into closed loop operation.
