When I lived in Texas, there was a club that met almost every weekend to work on someone's truck. Several guys would help with various projects each week on one another's trucks. Is there a Denver or Colorado group who does something similar to this?

I dont believe so but try posting in the regional section. If you weren't to far south i might try and hang out a few times.

Cool cool. Im actually not too far from you. I'm down at Federal and 80th in Westminster. Hit me up if you ever want to get together. DO you know any good "starter" trails where I can take my baby for her 1st offroad test run? I have been looking at a site called TrailDamage.com. Let me kno if you've ever used the site. I am wondering how current the info is on there.

We dont have an "official" club but most of the CO guys here get together every now and then. We have quite a few down here in the Springs and there is quite a few up by you. MRK5, 5280K5, Icehouse and Wrench-Head are all up near you. There are some others but they havent been active in a long while (Interceptor, FF184, ...)

As for a good easy first trail, look up Slaughterhouse Gulch . Thats a decent starter. Then you have all of the Rampart Range roads that are good easy runs.

Awesome! Thanks for the info! Maybe once Ive been on the forums for awhile I will see if I can get a few guys who want to get together once a month.

I plan on getting out quit a bit this wheeling season and I think some of the guys down here plan on getting out more. Your more than welcome to come out when we head out.:waytogo: The runs are usually posted down in the Rocky Mtn Region.

Cool. I didn't know there was a "Rocky Mtn Region" on the site. I am just finding my way around the forums. I'll find it and subscribe to the thread. Thanks!

Not sure if you have to be a paying member to get to the regional sections. $25/yr is cheap for the amount of info you can find here

Yes. I am going to definitely pay the $25 to join. I was previously a member of a Forum I was on a LOT. I'm sure the $25 is well worth it! Thanks!
.
I am going to try to take a few photos of my old truck today. Possibly start a thread in the Garage section...

:doah::doah:

I always forget about not being a paying member. I always assume that they can just see the same as I do. Plus life without CK5 would be so alien.:doah::dunno:

Well... I PAID for my membership to the forums. If someone can't afford the $25 to do that...better sell the 4x4! It takes that much in gas just to go to Walmart! haha.

I'll see you guys in the forums!

Best 25 bucks I spend every year!:waytogo: I'm a member on a few other forums for my other pcs of junk. None of them even come close to here!:bow:
