This last Friday, around 11:30am I was parked at the south end Walmart on 8th Street and someone drove into, or backed into my black Yukon XL.

Decided to leave no note and run.

I saw one, well outfitted K5 sitting out there with two guys. It looked like you were waiting for a few others before heading off into the mountains for a camping trip. I'm banking on someone from that group is a CK5r......

As I drove away, I saw two other K5's come in as well.

Did anyone see my truck get hit? Any info on the kind of car or person? Need your help if possible!

Basically, I got to pay $500 to fix something that was no fault of my own!:eek1:

I even parked far away! So irritating!!

Just got an estimate yesterday, $1,350 here. Deductible- $500. Totally sucks that this comes out of my pocket!

Yeah no kidding. It might be worth it if you got to beat the $&%* out of the guy, but I'm sure you could have used that money elsewhere. Stuff like that is why I want to live in the middle of nowhere...

All Wal-marts have CCTV. Worth to go and see if it was captured on video.

Did you file a police report? If so have the officer look at video or see if the store will allow you to watch the video. My grandmother had something stolen once and the local Walmart was very helpful.

I just called Walmart and they do store that info but would only allow a police officer to view. They suggested filing a police report and then the officer would investigate.

I just did that online so we'll see what happens from here. I'd rather have some irresponsible person's insurance pay for the repair than my insurance (with a $500 deductible).

Filing that Police Report was your best answer Jeff! I had the same thing happen to my Trailblazer in that same WalMart!!! Police report and the WalMart footage led them to the suspect and I got everything fixed for free......

Keep us posted......:waytogo:

Good luck getting a cop down there for that though. I had to practically call my senator just to get Corona PD to go to the local target to investigate the same exact thing. It was like I was bothering them or something to investigate a crime.

Apples to Oranges..........

This is Colorado Springs!

No traffic incidents, unless you live in BFE population 5 don't rank high up on most LEO's scale of fun things to investigate. I hope they do though because the SOB who hit him deserves to financially pay as well as have points on his license because of the hit and run.

Glad to hear we have some good cops around here. I'll keep you posted if anything come up......sure hope so.
