Common K-5 problems and solutions

My oil pressure gage pegs out when the Blazer is running. The left side of the dash lights are dimmer than the right ones.
 
I checked that. It's full. The motor never comes on. There is no power getting to it (works fine when direct wired though). All of the fuses seem good though. Also, when you push on the tab to spray the fluid, the wipers should come on too, right? Mine don't. I figure its a bad switch.

The high beam indicator just uses a bulb that's similar to the dash lights. Check to see if yours is burned out. You can get to them from behind the dash (though you'll probably have to first remove the a/c duct to get your hand up in there).
