common reasons for no lights

So currently i have no interior lights in my 83 k5 except for the lights on the gauge panel and the light behind the wiper switch. The only way to get those on is turning the knob all the way to the left and that barely works (replace the switch?) Also the rear window dosent work, it did at first but only when i was driving, now nothing. Anybody know of some common places where i might look? also the cig lighter is not hooked up if that matters. I have the dash pretty much disassembled but nothing is jumping out as the reason for these problems. Plus i am not the best when it comes to electrical. All the fuses are working and all the outside lights work good. I want to check the switches on the door also but i doubt those are it, theres not alot of rust on this thing. Plus i dont have the right bit to get those things out.

Bad Ground? The wiring harness under the dash has a couple ground wires. usually black. I also am not the best with electrical. good luck

i cleaned out the sockets for the dome lights and when i put a tester on the terminal i can get them to turn on so there is power, i think that it must be the door switches now. those are next to come out. if the door switches are grounds and when i ground the terminal the lights come on then the switches must be the problem..hopefully.
