I have a 1980 HEI distributor.
Upgrades:
Dismantled unit and cleaned. Bushing surfaces were cleaned and checked.
New MDS high rpm Module
Accell Super Coil
MSD cap and rotor (only have 2 pulls on it...less than 1000 miles)
Wired into an MSD soft touch Rev control with plug in RPM modules
My new intake and carb setup dictates I use a non HEI distributor (smaller cap and rotor), so I will be purchasing a new distributor that has an external 6AL box and external coil so I can run the smaller cap.
Looking to possibly sell my existing setup. I'm not sure what it's worth though?
