I am putting a 6.0 in my buggy and have the complete TBi 350 that is in it for sale.
I really don't know anything about the engine except that it has always been a strong runner. I removed it from a 87 suburban but we don't think it was the original engine to that vehicle. I have been running it for 6 years without a problem. Engine has never burned a drop of oil. I have used this engine for mainly rock crawling and as such it has been run on it's side many times. I never let it loose complete oil pressure but it has been low a few times.
Specs.
TBI 350
Stand alone Howell harness with no emisions stuff. Harness requires only like 4 or five wires to hook up.
I made a custom pulley for the water pump to run a short water pump on it. I needed the overall length of the engine shorter for the buggy. Water pump is a Weiand Team G high flow.
has an after market drilled 180 degree thermostat in it.
I will include the 105 amp alternator and starter but not the power steering pump. Both the Alt. and starter are new this year. Current pump and mounting system is for a TC pump not the more common P style GM pump.
I will include a modified stock air cleaner housing and used air filter.
There is a remote mount oil filter setup on the engine now that will be removed prior to sale. A new stock oil filter will be included.
Price is $750 negotiable.
Other items that I have that could be for sale but are not included are:
shorty headers of some brand not sure.
Power steering pump maybe
Several air cleaner housings some with Amsoil dryfilters. Not sure which of these I can sell and which will go to other vehicles in the stable.
External fuel pump for this setup.
Griffin 27.5X15 radiator with custom dual fan shroud and fans. Fans pull 4,000CFM and a total of 50 amps. This radiator is on the edge of being large enough for this motor. It may not work in a full size setup.
