I have an ancient compressor that I would like to rebuild. No part or manufacturer numbers visible. Its a 2 cylinder vertical pump. No bolt on filter, just insets on top of the head for what looks like 2 pieces of scotchbrite. Its Speedaire green and appears to be the orig paint. The old beast still works, but blows oil out a weep hole behind the pulley. I've been told that is a symptom of worn rings. Any web sites out there that will allow me to ID this pump?? Come on tool guys, help me out.

You might want to post a pic on here of it so we can see for ourselves what it is you have. Maybe someone here will know the exact model or something if they see it.

Does it have a small strap that runs diagonally across the filter? If so it sounds like the old CH compressors.

Here's some pics. The tank was made in 1955, but the whole rig looks like it has been pieced together. The old girl will still pump up to 150psi!!!!!!!!!!!!!
