My mechanic looked at my car and told me that my computers wires were indanger of burning from coming in contact w/ the egr valve (I think at least it was ther egr, it is the large shinny thing on back lleft on intake past the TBI). I do not know where to move it too, and also when ever i follow the wires w/ my hand after the car has been running, they are cool, and so is the EGR. Any insight would be great.

EGR's really don't get hot... but probably would be a good idea to use some wire loom or if you want go get some of the falme retardent socks for spark plug boots. Jeg's has them for like $5 ea. I wouldn't worry very much about it though.
