What does everyone have against the jeeps used in TTC? Have you ever looked at their setup?

Chevy 350/Chevy BB
TH350/700
Atlas II
Dana 60's

What is jeep about that? As far as I'm concerned, it's almost completely GM. If jeeps were so great, they woulnd't have to swap out the entire drivetrain with parts that mostly came from GM vehicles. Opinions?
