Well, as the title suggests, under hard acceleration, my console begins to really shake. It will make all the change in the cup holder rumble very loudly. What would cause this shake? Broken Tranny Mount? Anything else to check?

I have serviced everything short of the body mounts , and the tranny itself in the last five years , and I still get the shake at times .

Just an old truck :thumb:

Guess I just didn't notice so much after my console pulled loose from doing that for who knows how long ........:haha: I never put it back in. Its still sitting in the garage

U joints will do it. Also, on mine, I had a bad motor mount and it let the drivetrain shift enough for the tcase to hit the floor pan on the pass side. Some of Kerts motor mounts solved it.

most likely, you have a mogwai in there and he's trying to get out and be your furry little pal. but, don't feed him after midnight or....:yikes:

u-joints are the next most likely thing. specifically, the front join of the rear driveshaft. maybe make sure the slip yoke isn't loose.

man, mine does that but its just because the engine is too big. Wait, what am i saying, an engine is never to big. Just an idea but you could try putting some rubber washers under it to decrease some of the vibrations, that and make sure its really tightened down good.

It seems all the questions you ask, narrow down to one answer. It`s an old truck, period. Expect these things...

I can solve this!
1.) Remove the change from it.
2.) Place in ash tray
3.) Close ash tray.
4.) Listen to loud music.

Sounds like what most said about drive train vibs.
