Well, as mentioned, the truck beat the hell out of me for 11 days. I took the scenic route, and it was worth it. Nothing like Fall in the mountains.

So, I have new seat foam and upholstery in and just ordered some new Bilsteins. When thats done ill get new body mounts and maybe new springs. Spring bushings at least lol.

Never messed with upholstery before, this will be...interesting

funny in a way, my dad's 2003 Silverado I inherited I was just on eBay looking at new foam and a cover for the driver's side bottom seat. I think it needs a frame as well as the springs seem to be broken when I put my hand under there. just thought it was funny I was looking at the same stuff but for different year

My seat frame has a lean from years of abuse. I my pull it back if it looks like it will go without cracking.
Passenger seat is still out. I'm doing it first. May just wind up swapping sides.

My C10 needs seat work. I've thought about ordering foam and upholstery but I'm concerned the springs are also in bad shape. I wish new bench seats weren't so expensive. I'm thinking I might just take it to an upholstery shop.

Thought about taking mine to a shop, but that's a lot of money.
Figure if they can do it, so can i.

Where’s all the beautiful pics?

I put 84 burb buckets in my 77 they are in good shape, only blue. I put saddle seat covers on, sourced from RockAuto. On long drives my butt cheeks get sore, thinking about new lower foam for them. Possibly having the bench redone and put it back, I remember it being comfy

Bench seats are more comfortable imo, only thing I don’t like about them is anything you set in the middle always ends up sliding over behind your ass as you drive, with buckets you can set stuff between the seats or in the console

That would troublesome in a K5, although my grandson loves climbing in through the tailgate! It's always a big adventure for him.
