I didn't think anyone made a manual valve body for one?

i thought you would need to shift it manually unless you had the "stand alone computer" or something. that what i gathered from everything i had seen on this topic

The guys who do the raptor 700R4's have a built 4l80E that they have a manual VB in so you dont have to buy the computer.

The computer should make the transmission act just like normal. It should shift automatically and you should also be able to manually operate the gears like you can do with a normal tranny.

Yes, Muddybuddy, that is the one you want for "stand alone system". You can run whatever engine you want in front of this, but if you go EFI, you'll need vss from somewhere else(besides tranny).
Interesting thing is, this is the second one of these he's had up in the last two months--"used for mock-up only".

oh i dont plan to buy it, but i was searching ebay, and came across it and wanted to see if that was the right computer, cuz the auot parts sotre i work at i can get discounts on TCI so that would be sweet. if i did go with the 4l80e it would be behind a diesel.

Hi guys, I make a manual controller for a few automatic transmissions, and initial research seems to indicate that I could adapt it to the 4l60e, 4l80e, etc. If anyone would like to be my Chevy tester, please send me an email.
