i went from 10b's front and rear, to 60/14b 1350's. the conversion u-joint i have for the rear works fine and fits perfectly. i tried to do my front, and the conversion ujoint cap is too big. and im using the correct one (s44-1350) what gives? are front/rear joints different?

10 bolt and 44 and 60 front all use the same joint on the input of the axle. only need to change rear joint at axle end.

so then what u-joint do i need for the front? i dont think the chevy 60s came stock with 1350, i think only 1310.

Unless you had a new driveshaft made then I dont know why you are using a conversion joint. All Chevy front ends are 1310...

well i upgraded to a 1350 yoke, so i guess im kinda screwed since there is no conversion for it?

Should be the same U-joint for the front as the rear if you have a 1350 yoke on your D60. The front U-joint is a 1330 factory IIRC.

well i got the nepco 2-1153 joint, and the head of the caps are too big to get into the driveshaft
