I'm posting this question for my husband so I apologize if it's not completely clear.

We are going from the stock '72 k5 axles to axles out of a '79 or so k30 dually: Dana 44 to a Dana 60 in the front and a 12 bolt to Dana 70 HD in the rear. What U-joint do we need to use our current drive shaft with the new axles? Hoping for a spicer part number or something.

Thanks!!

In case anyone has a similar question, I found that Napa carries a part (PUJ 447) that is supposed to work for one ton swaps using a 14 bolt at least (1310 x 1350). I am assuming that my dana 70 hd would use the same u joint. Can anyone confirm or correct me? Thanks.

The front Dana 44/Dana 60 driveline u-joints are both 1310. In the rear you will need a 1310/1350 conversion u-joint.

Awesome, you just saved me about $30 - and just like that, my ck5 membership has paid for itself, again.

Thanks.
