I need one for my NP205 to my 12-bolt, but know nothing about them. 1310 to 1330? 1350?

The yoke on the 205 accommodates a much larger u-joint than my driveline does, that's for sure.

How do I check sizes and get started here?

Tried searching but it seems like the words "conversion u-joints" and anything else I could think of is in almost every thread on this site

Edit: For once Google helped me more than CK5 did for something relating to my truck, lol. Probably just because it's so common though. I see the joints are readily available.

But I can't remember if my 205 is from a 3/4 or 1-ton truck, My 1/2 ton is a 1310 of course, how do I tell if the 205 is a 1330 or 1350?

Look about 2/3's of the way down this page and it will show measurements of all of the common driveshaft u-joints. Figure out what you have and go from there.

1330's never came on Chevy's as far as I know but who knows what you have.

My 97 1500 had a 1330 on the rear axle end. The driveshaft guy told me that all chevy's with the aluminum driveshaft had a 1330. I had to get a 1330-1350 conversion joint when I put a 14bolt in.

I too have seen 1330's in Chevy's.

But I'm not one to start stirring the "what came in what for what years" pot... lol

Either way, he helped me out, and I now have a 1310 to 1350 joint in the end of my driveline joined to my new t-case, yay.

That link covers Spicer style u-joints only, with locking rings or locating tabs on the outside.
GM uses Saginaw style u-joints as well, with locking rings on the inside, or no locking rings at all if they are still the stock ones
(then they are glued in place with plastic)

On page 3 in this document there's a better guide for identifying u-joints.

The ones called 3R in that document are pretty common in 1/2-ton drivetrains
3R or 3RL is what GM calls them, but they are probably more known as S44.
Sometimes they are incorrectly called 1344...
And sometimes they are mistaken for 1330 joints...
