Converting a 2wd th400 to 4wd?

I got a nice th400 long tail 2wd tranny, I want to convert it to use a np-205 ect.... is this possible and what do I need to do/get? Thanks

Google is your freind.

You need the correct tail shaft. A complete tear down is required to change the tail shaft out. You will need the 400/205 adapter & a 32 spline input 205. Good luck & happy hunting.
