Converting Cargo doors to Single rear door? (Suburban)

Has anyone done this? How involved would it be? I hate that big blockage in my rear veiw mirror and I would love to have a "tailgate" and a rear window that would roll down

shoot...I wish I had barn doors...sucks trying to lean over the tailgate to get something out of the bed.

New guy here, 1991 Suburban, 3/4T, 4X4, Silverado. I am going the other way, tailgate to cargo doors. Bought the cargo doors several years ago from junk yard (from a 1885 or 1986 suburban). Removed the tailgate and associated pieces yesterday. Prefit the cargo doors and I don't see and mounting holes or location for door hinges? Need someone with cargo doors to help locate the hinge mounting holes.
