What's required to convert my 3/4 ton Chevy four door (3+3) to a dually? It's an '86 w/ a 14b rearend.... /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Well you could booty fab it and put dually spacers on the rear axle /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

<font color="green"> I think that the width of the housing is the same, just get dually hubs and the fenders. Might not even need the hubs, not sure if they are any wider or not. </font>

the duallys had dana70's in the rear the 14bff is not as wide. only the cab and chassis duallys had 14bff under them. they are narrower.

I have never heard of a 3/4 crewcab before 2002

My dad had a 76 3/4 ton crew cab...2WD though. I remember the day he bought it off the lot brand new.

Yup, 350, TH350, 14 FF rear. Tranny went at 63,000 miles...big surprise. You'd think it would have got a TH400, especially because it was a camper special too. Camshaft went at 71,000 miles. Truck was rusted out in 4 years, fixed and repainted and starting to show signs of rot a second time when my dad sold it in 84. It's gotta be dust by now...

Yup, 350, TH350, 14 FF rear. Tranny went at 63,000 miles...big surprise. You'd think it would have got a TH400, especially because it was a camper special too. Camshaft went at 71,000 miles. I was thinking mine would have the TH400... Its an '86 3-speed auto... Maybe one day I'll actually look up under it to check....
